CLOSING DIATRIBES This is a new feature for us, let us know if you like it. We'll close each show with an unmoderated, free rant - the one place in our show where we can let the vitriol flow (though still not at each other).
Fin Music played in this show is entirely available from the The Podsafe Music Network. Comments[4] |
First show of yours I listened to. I am impressed. You guys know how to disagree in an amicable way without denigrating the other. A really refreshing way to listen to opposite political ideas without name calling and screaming. Howard Dean should listen in and get a clue from your show.
Anyways, good show, good timely topic to discuss.
How about a show on gay marriage, abortion or embryonic stem cell research? I would like to see how calm and reserved you can both be even though you're going to disagree on these topics. Maybe a discussion on the media, the war, or anti war protesters.
Good luck in future endeavors with the podcast.

Thank you for the compliment, Sue. We were definitely planning on doing a show on abortion, but the other two topics are great ideas as well. They are all topics which seem to be impossible for people to discuss without getting emotional, or forming battle lines. We hope to unpack them, get to the heart of the matter, and disagree amicably.
Thanks again for the compliment and for listening. Stay tuned for more of the same - we hope to be back after the Christmas break.

Did you know the government can also seize your land for private use if they can prove that doing it will serve what's called "the public good"?
